Towards Sustainable Mobility ​

PMI Electro Mobility was founded in 2017 by visionary leaders Mr. Satish Kumar Jain and Mr. Anurag Aggarwal, driven by a steadfast commitment to delivering eco-friendly mobility solutions and advancing sustainability in the transportation sector. Building on the proud legacy of PMI Coaches, India’s premier bus body manufacturer, PMI Electro Mobility has transformed public transport through groundbreaking innovations in electric vehicle technology.

From the outset, PMI Electro Mobility has set new standards in electric mobility. With a proven track record of excellence, our fleet covers over 100,000 kilometers daily without a single breakdown—an achievement that underscores our unwavering focus on operational reliability and efficiency.

Today, PMI Electro Mobility operates over 1,500 electric buses across more than 31 cities, redefining passenger experiences while addressing critical environmental challenges.

Our buses have successfully navigated the snow-covered routes of Shimla and conquered the rugged high-altitude roads of Leh, exemplifying durability and performance across diverse terrains.

Our collaboration with PMI Coaches has empowered us to forge strong partnerships with industry leaders, enhancing our ability to deliver state-of-the-art solutions. Together, we are shaping a future where sustainable transportation is not just a goal but a reality.

In 2021, we celebrated a significant milestone by delivering our 1,000th electric bus, becoming the first Indian manufacturer to reach this landmark under the FAME II scheme. Each electric bus can save approximately 28,000 kg of CO2 annually, contributing to an estimated total reduction of around 3.4 lakh tons of CO2, over their operational lifetimes.

44 MW Electric bus depots

PMI has developed electric bus depots with a capacity exceeding 44 MW, providing comprehensive charging and maintenance support for its fleet.

Smart Mobility Solutions

Implementing advanced safety features such as real-time monitoring systems and CCTV cameras in their buses to ensure passenger safety.

  • 2017

    First Electric Bus Delivery

    The company made headlines with the delivery of its first electric bus to Delhi International Airport, showcasing its advanced technology and commitment to sustainable transport.

  • 2022

    1,000th Electric Bus

    In a remarkable achievement, PMI Electro became the first Indian manufacturer to deliver 1,000 electric buses under the FAME II scheme, contributing to a projected reduction of “3.4 lakh tons of CO2 emissions” over 12 years.

  • Feb 2022

    Expansion of Fleet

    With over 1,200 buses operating across more than 28 cities, PMI has enhanced passenger experiences while addressing critical environmental challenges. Its electric buses have successfully navigated challenging terrains, including the snowy roads of Shimla and the high-altitude routes of Leh.
